Dr. Nico J.C. Francken has experience in working with major multinational companies in New Zealand, Spain and The Netherlands. He is also the founder of the Company and the director of the IN Group, with offices in New Zealand, The Netherlands and Singapore.
The family tradition having a lawyer in every generation was established from the 16th century. Dr. Francken holds a law degree from Leiden University in The Netherlands and the Diploma of Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium. He is a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), The New Zealand Trustee Association, the International Tax Planners Association and the Asia Offshore Association.
In 1981 he established his own legal practice in The Netherlands and worked as a barrister and solicitor. He specialised in corporate, financial and business advice, working for private clients as well as for small and medium sized companies. His practice involved travel and experience in many countries all over Europe, Asia and Australasia. He assisted a plethora of clients in organising and structuring their businesses and investments, using both on-shore and off-shore structures.
Jacques Leuba has been a private banker for over 30 years, having recently retired from Banque Heritage SA, after a successful career including many years at Switzerland's largest banking groups - Credit Suisse Group (Clariden Leu), UBS, and before that in London and the Channel Islands.
He specialises in wealth structuring and manager selection for international families and their advisers, including provision of Swiss banking and trustee relationships and advice on structures for entrepreneurs, financial planners and all wealth intermediaries, both in Switzerland and other financial centres.
Educated in the UK, with a degree in Politics and Economics (Oxon 1973), he trained as a commercial banker in the 70's in Switzerland and South America and then held senior banking positions with two Swiss banks in the UK. He then spent 3 years on secondment to the British Foreign Office as a financial regulator in the Caribbean, acquiring considerable experience in the regulatory supervision of offshore banks, trust companies and insurance companies. He subsequently spent 5 years in Jersey where he set up the private banking and trust operations of a large Luxembourg bank.
Jacques is a member STEP, International Tax Planning Association and an associate member of the International Bar Association.
H.B. Ooi has experience and expertise in connecting companies, private investors, venture companies and funds from various parts of the world. With a large network of close associates in different sectors like banking, legal, real estate, private equities and trading H.B.Ooi is in a position to make deals happen.
H.B.Ooi has more than 27 years business experience in Asia having worked for multinational companies such as BHP Steel, Akzo Nobel, Veolia Water, and Metsaliitto Finnforest in senior management roles with direct bottom line responsibilities in Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong and China. He also was senior advisor/consultant to US Filter, Woelco AG, Armstrong Industrial Corp, The Executive Learning Center, Evapco and Pac Environmental Engineering Inc in China and consults on areas ranging from market entry strategies, startups, market penetration and corporate reorganization.
H.B.Ooi has studied Marketing at Monash University, Mt Eliza Business School, Australia and Finance at the University of Michigan. He is fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese and Malay.
H.B.Ooi is also an active member of a number of professional organisations and Chambers of Commerce.
Prior to joining IN Asset Management, H.B.Ooi was business development manager of GCSL Group, an international corporate service provider with office in Hong Kong, Singapore and a number of off-shore jurisdictions. Within IN Asset Management, H.B.Ooi offers all our services but specialises in corporate business structures and development using legal entities both in on-shore and off-shore jurisdictions.
Dr. Irina Francken-Medvedeva has been trained as a scientist in physics and mathematics for many years in Moscow where she has obtained her PhD. After successful career she has retired from her research and tutor university job by starting a new phase in her study and business. She has been actively involved in IN Asset Management's business since 1994. She is currently completing the STEP course in international trust management.
From 1994 she was involved in the international trade providing management and administration in reviewing and preparing sales and purchase contracts. She provided compliance advice to trading companies on regulatory requirements, internal policies and formulation solutions to support ongoing business activities and expansion.
From 1998 Irina works as a director of IN Asset Management Limited a company offering private international trustee services from its offices in New Zealand and Singapore to clients internationally.
Irina is an affiliate member of STEP (one more exam to go toward formal TEP qualification), a registered professional trustee with the NZ Trustee Association (RT), a member of the International Tax Planning Association and an associate member of the Singapore Trustees Association.
